Additional notes
A refundable damage deposit is required for this property. The amount is specified in the booking conditions for each property and will be requested separately after booking confirmation, payable by bank transfer directly to Comporta Vacation Homes. The deposit will be refunded within 72 hours after check-out, provided no damages occur.
- The agency asks you to contact them a week before arrival to inform them of your plane/ship Nº and the arrival time to arrange key collection.
- Refund of the security deposit by bank transfer is made between 5 and 15 days after your departure

Villa Atlas is a laid-back country house in Carvalhal, set within 4,600 m² of private grounds in the Comporta countryside, about 3 km from the village and its sandy beach. True to the character of the region, the single-storey house has whitewashed walls, terracotta-tiled roofs and thatched pergolas, with a wide lawn running down to the pool and open views across the fields beyond.
The private swimming pool sits at the end of the garden, framed by a wooden deck with sun loungers and a shaded daybed pavilion for the hottest hours of the day. Closer to the house, a large thatched pergola shelters an outdoor lounge and dining table, while a covered veranda beside the citrus orchard offers another quiet spot for breakfast or a long lunch. A charcoal barbecue completes the outdoor areas.
Inside, the mood is light and easy. White timber-beamed ceilings, pale floors, natural fabrics and soft neutral tones give the house a calm, airy feel. The living room has a fireplace and two seating areas, and flows into the dining room and the fully equipped open kitchen, with a table that seats the whole group. Large glass doors open straight onto the terraces and garden.
Villa Atlas accommodates up to 14 guests in five bedrooms, all on the ground floor. Three are double bedrooms and two are bunk rooms with two bunk beds each, making the house a natural fit for families and groups travelling with children. There are five bathrooms with showers, four of them private to a bedroom. All bedrooms have air conditioning and mosquito nets.
